This place may have been the closest thing I had in Mexico, and I am so happy. I went to Mexico for few weeks in the past and so many places in MI are not quite close to the taste at all (or maybe they modified to satisfy American tastes…) but I am super impressed with the authenticity! The red sauce is HOT and burns my mouth and it’s so good. Providing 1 lime per taco is 👏 it’s sad this place is not close to my home, but I’m pretty sure I’m gonna come back many more times any times I’m around Kalamazoo!

I always “judge” a Mexican restaurant by the quality of their Mexican Street Tacos (tortillas de maiz, carne asada,cebolla y cilantro). If the tacos are good, the other meals will follow… Their tortilla made in house is the most flavorful and softer one that I’ve had in a long time; the tacos were DELICIOUS!!!! Can’t wait to try the other dishes…. The service was fast and courteous and ambiance was chill and clean. 5/5

Friendly staff. Authentic cuisine. Prompt service. Half out family somos Michoacànos, so we know. Very quaint little place, clean & cute with great food and full-sized portions. If you're looking for cocktails, sombreros and songs on your birthday and free chips and salsa to fill up on before your meal... maybe head elsewhere. If you're looking for a stick to your ribs meal, aguas frescas, o un soda Jarritos, at a price that accommodates... eat here daily. The food and staff are fantastic!

My first time coming and the food was delicious. I ordered a Steak Torta and it was by far the best one I’ve had. The agua Fresca drinks was another hit!!! The pineapple made perfectly. It’s really cute inside, minimal seating inside just a heads up. I would definitely recommend this place for authentic Mexican food.

I was pleasantly surprised by this unassuming little place. My boyfriend and I wanted some Mexican food for dinner and (while there's a plethora of Mexican restaurants in Kalamazoo) I suddenly remembered driving by this one often and we decided to try it. The staff is Very friendly and very helpful. The food we ordered was all quite delicious. I especially loved the fries (Pas Michoacanas)! My boyfriend enjoyed his Torta and I enjoyed my Gordita and Tamale. The restaurant was also nice and clean inside ☺️
